Public Records And Reverse Phone Number Lookup Software
Privacy is a big issue nowadays, with a large part due to the Internet. A lot of information that you used to hold sacred can be released online with the press of a button or the hacking of a database. Not everything is going to be safe anymore.
Cell phones, like every other piece of technology, contain a lot of data that can be (and has been) hacked by some persons. Unlike most information that we believe is “personal,” cell phone numbers are protected by privacy laws that present their release to the general public (or public domain). Landline phone numbers and street addresses fall into the public information, hence the main reason why you have thick phone books and telemarketers willing to ruin dinnertime with stupid stuff.
One technology that could cause the information from your cell phone to be made known is the reverse phone number looking. This is where they use a phone number to trace you or a loved one. Since the information is private, people will have to go to services that have that already (either by buying a master list or by stealing a list). The “free ones” will not give you much cause of concern; they will just list a number and in some cases, the name of person owning the phone number.
