Privacy is a big issue here in the land of the free and the home of the brave, and privacy concerning cell phone numbers has been tightly guarded. Considering that users of a cell phone often have to pay for every minute of their usage, or sometimes pay per call when their calls exceed a certain number, imagine what a disaster it would be for telemarketers to be able to call everyone on their cell phones!
