Unlisted numbers cannot be traced. The owners of the phone number pay extra money to keep them out of the phone books and therefore out of the public eye. Cell phones are somewhat in the category of unlisted unless the cell phone user specifically asks that their cell phone number be included in the regular telephone directory. This request is an extreme rarity, so don’t expect to find one of those in a regular phone number look up search engine.
