police-reverse-phone-lookupUntil recently, it was difficult to trace cell phone or pager numbers. However, with new technology available and improving all the time, finding a cell phone number and connecting it to its user is relatively easy if you look in the right place. Cell phone number databases, unlike public utility land line telephones, are not considered public information, so they are not ordinarily made freely available to the public. The Internet has changed all that and now even these private numbers can be found if you know where to look.

There are now companies with enormous databases containing up to 99% of the cell phone numbers in use today. By using the services of these companies, you simply enter the number you are looking for and possibly a few other pertinent details that could identify the user, and the system will respond by telling you that the number is in their database. At that point you decide whether to proceed by paying the fee for the information. In this way, if the number is not in the system’s database, you are not charged a fee.

There are many reasons why the ability to identify a caller would be valuable, and now it is possible to do so…for a fee, of course.
